A Cultural And Recreations Paradise

At Toll Brothers, we believe that preserving the natural environment is an integral part of creating a community you’ll be proud to call home. The luxurious homes we build are specifically designed to harmonize with the scenic beauty of the surrounding landscape. We preserve as much open space as possible, incorporating the existing hills, trees, streams and ponds. As part of our award-winning efforts, we’ve saved and subsequently transplanted thousands of trees, preserved peaceful creeks, and restored sparkling ponds — and we’ve created community walking trails so residents can enjoy these tranquil settings.

Dominion Valley Country Club beautifully showcases the results of our ongoing preservation efforts, including:

  • Transplanting more than 15,000 nursery stock trees to finished areas within DVCC during various stages of development
  • Moving 1,200 mature evergreen trees to DVCC to create natural buffers and wildlife habitats
  • Preserving more than 100 acres of wetlands on the DVCC site
  • Within our 2,100-acre community, designating more than 600 acres for open spaces for wetlands, neighborhood parks, and miles of walking and biking trails through carefully preserved natural areas
  • Rehabilitating four existing farm ponds and dams to enhance community water quality and preserve the landscape

We’re also proud to have been recognized for our environmental preservation efforts at both the local and national levels:

  • 2004 Community Conservation Award, presented by the Prince William (County) Conservation Alliance
  • Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary golf course, awarded by Audubon International
  • Prince William County, Virginia: 2001 “Partners of the Potomac” Environmental Stewardship award

In keeping with our focus on the environment, Dominion Valley Country Club’s 18-hole championship Arnold Palmer Signature Golf Course blends harmoniously with the breathtaking countryside in the shadow of the Bull Run Mountains.
